About us

RFSL Örebro is a local branch of the national organisation RFSL – The Swedish Federation of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Rights. RFSL has about 30 branches all over the country, among which RFSL Örebro is one, since 1981. The purpose of the branch is to protect and better the situation for lgbtqi people.

What does RFSL do?

RFSL’s aim is that lgbtqi people should have the same rights, possibilities and obligations as everybody else. To achieve this we create a meeting space for our members and others who are interested, and do active outward-looking work.

What work does RFSL Örebro do?

The member oriented part of the work mainly consists of social events but also sexual political advocacy.

The branch also has a library with interest related fiction and non-fiction literature that is open for members to use.

RFSL Örebro is a non-profit association and its work depends on the interests of those who get engaged.
