Elisabeth Arnér – “Barns inflytande – en fråga om demokrati”
Örebro Läns Museum, Engelbrektsgatan 3
November 30 18:30-20:00
It’s only when we listen to the children that we can start talking about a democratic society. It takes respect for children’s voices and demands knowledge and serious discussions about the term democracy. Elisabeth Arnér is a former teacher at Örebro Universitet and has written a number of books on children and democracy and influence.
The lecture is a part of the series “Mänskliga Rättigheter @ Örebro läns museum” (human rights @Örebro läns museum) organized by RFSL Örebro, Örebro läns museum, ABF Örebro Län and Örebro Rättighetscenter. All lectures in this series are free of charge and open to the public.
World Aids Day is held the first of December each year and is an opportunity for people all over the world to unite in the fight against HIV/AIDS, show their support for people who live with HIV/AIDS and to honor the people that have died.
December 1 at 18.00 we gather at Våghustorget to observe World Aids Day.
The manifestation is a collaboration between RFSL Örebro and Noaks Ark.
“En del av Sverige” (a part of Sweden) by Annika Hamrud asks the question: Do LGBTQ people have a cultural heritage? The book is based on interviews with LGBTQ people in Örebro, many of whom have been active in RFSL Örebro.
The book is released soon, and we are celebrating with a launch party where Annika Hamrud will be present. So come on November 30 at 18.00 to participate in this literary event.
RFSL Örebro offers an HIV test with a quick result. The test is taken through a pinprick in the finger, and a few drops of blood are then put on a test strip. You will get the result in about 15 minutes and can remain completely anonymous.
